TESA, PESA, Testicular biopsy

Percutaneous Epididymal Sperm Aspiration (PESA)- Sperm is aspirated or sampled percutaneously from epidedymis of the testes usually with a needle of 21-25 G and sent for the ICSI.It is done only the patient of obstructive azoospermia..

Testicular Sperm Extraction (TESE)- Sperm is retrieved or surgically taken from the seminiferous tubules,it is done in the case of obstructive azoospermia.

Testicular Sperm Aspiration (TESA) –A needle of 18-25 G is used to take sperm from testicular parenchyma to sample the seminiferous tubules by aspiration send for the ICSI.

Testicular biopsy-Testicular biopsy is done by taking the tissue from the testes  ,search the spermatozoa and send for the ICSI.
